- Delhi Open (Category A) GM Chess Championship- 9th Jan to 16th Jan’18- In the just concluded championship in Delhi, Aditya won three matches including a beautiful win over a talented young International Master and drew four matches which included draw with two Grand Masters and one IM.
- Bhopal International GM Chess Tournament (India)- 21st Dec to 28th Dec’17- Aditya scored six points from 10 rounds, winning 5 and drawing 2 of his games. Aditya got 1st prize in his age category under Boys section.
- At 9th Penang Heritage City International Chess Open 2017 (Malaysia)- 3rd Dec to 9th Dec’17- by virtue of his excellent play in Blitz Chess, Aditya was awarded 2nd prize in Under-12 age category.
- Candidate Master Aditya Mittal, Rating 2203, played in 2 very prestigious International Open Chess Championships during Jul’17, namely MetLife Warsaw Najdorf in Warsaw, Poland and Czech Open 2017 in Pardubice, Czech Republic. Aditya faced 14 opponents higher rated than him and won in 4 and drew in 6 matches.
